Richard Kirk is currently an Associate Professor in Economics and Chair of Business at Perimeter College of Georgia State University. He earned his PhD in Economics from Virginia Tech and the Center for Study of Public Choice in 1983. He was owner and operator of a regional wholesale distribution company for more than twenty years.
His current research interests include effective Principles course content, Property Rights and the organizational form of the firm, and political entrepreneurship. He is a member of the FEE Faculty Network.
