Roger Custer is Vice President of Development at the Commonwealth Foundation. He is a recognized leader in fundraising and nonprofit management, having served at both the Institute for Humane Studies and Young America’s Foundation. In addition, under his leadership as CEO of America’s Future Foundation (AFF) from 2011–2017, AFF’s impact, programs, and budget grew steadily. He is a graduate of the Koch Associate Program and holds a BA from Ithaca College and an MPA from George Mason University. He lives in Virginia with his wife and kids, where he also plays clarinet, trains for triathlons, and serves as a deacon at his church.
